The country of Mongolia has continental climate condition and naturally very distinctive ecosystems, and is rich in biological diversity. Due to the recent environmental and climate change throughout the world and human harmful impacts, the ecosystems, biodiversity and wildlife populations, distributions and density have being changed significantly in our country. In this case the local community people should be aware of the wildlife populations, distributions and density. It is of great value to wildlife conservation.
Nomadic Nature Conservation has a proficient team of wild animal researchers and experts. The team is well experienced in conducting the wildlife monitoring and conservation activities. For instance, the experienced biologists have successfully conducted the community based wildlife monitoring for wolf, argali sheep and ibex in Umnugovi aimag; and the marmots, red deer and roe deer monitoring in the territory covering the Bat-Ulzii soum of Uvurkhangai aimag, Erdenetsogt soum of Bayankhongor, and Tsenkher soum of Arkhangai aimag. NNC aims to organize at large scale activities designated to increase participation of local people on wild animal monitoring studies and to build capacity of local institutions operating in the field of environment and wildlife conservation.
